Founded in 1970 as a RFCI Chapter. Located in South East Florida. They have about 350 members of all levels of experience.

Stated Object of Organization
The Palm Beach Chapter of the Rare Fruit Council International, inc. is dedicated to promoting and furthering the cultivation and use of tropical and rare fruit, both in South Florida and throughout the world.

Meetings are held at the Mounts Auditorium:
531 North Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida which is located in Mounts Botanical Gardens.

Meets the Second Friday of each month at 7:30 PM, most months feature a knowledgeable speaker. Visitors and guests are welcome and encouraged. Located one half mile north of Southern Blvd. on Military Trail. Membership is $15-US may include spouse and members receive a monthly newsletter. Their newsletter is quite informative.

One of their most exciting events is the annual Ice Cream Party which is held during August or September. Mmmmm goood!

They also have yearly sales where rare and unusual tropical fruit plants are sold, see the events page for details.

They are one of the longest established rare fruit organizations and always provide a good experience and information at their functions.
