Caloosa Rare Fruit Exchange

Caloosa Rare Fruit Exchange will have their plant sale in November 2008, at Terry Park in Ft. Myers. Fruit for tasting will be available. Contact Rachel Singletary (941) 574-7759. This is an easy sale to find and you can expect many plants. Terry park is on Palm Beach Blvd. (SR 80), EAST of US 41. Take I-75 exit # 25 (SR 80) and the park is to the WEST.

Palm Beach RFCI

Palm Beach currently hosts two sales per year. The sales are frequently at the Mounts Botanical Garden in West Palm Beach. Hours are 9 am to 3 pm. Palm Beach sales feature a wide variety of great fruit plants. These are the best sales for the south end of the State, don't miss them.

Call Chuck Lore at (561) 968-7194 for information. As with all their sales expect many rare plants for your gardens.



Manatee(RFCI)

The Manatee Rare Fruit Council had a strong tree sale in May, 2007 and will have another on 18 May 2008 at the Manatee Convention Center. Contact:

The 19 th Annual Fruit Tree Sale will be on Sunday 30 September 2007!
Sunday Sept 30, 2007 10 am - 4 pm, the 19th annual sale! Thousands of fruiting and edible plants will be offered by venders from across Florida. Expert advice from professional growers, Sarasota County Extension Master Gardeners and members. Co-sponsored by the Sarasota Fruit & Nut Society and Sarasota County Parks & Recreation. 
Phillippi Park, 5500 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, Fla. On the West side of US 41 about a mile north of SR 72 (Clark or Stickney Point Road). From I 75 take exit 37 (SR 72) and go west to US 41, turn north (right) and shift to the left lane of 41 as your turn in about a mile. There is a light. Hours 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
