Caloosa Rare Fruit Exchange will have their plant sale in November 2012, at Terry Park in Ft. Myers. Fruit for tasting will be available. Contact Rachel Singletary (941) 574-7759. This is an easy sale to find and you can expect many plants. Terry park is on Palm Beach Blvd. (SR 80), EAST of US 41. Take I-75 exit # 25 (SR 80) and the park is to the WEST.
Palm Beach currently hosts two sales per year. The sales are very popular and take place in West Palm Beach. Hours are 9 am to 2 pm. Palm Beach sales feature a wide variety of great fruit plants. These are the best sales for the south end of the State, don't miss out on them.
Their sales are held the
third Saturday in March and again in July at the South Florida
Fair Grounds. Call for more information.

The
Florida State Fair runs about 2 weeks in February. The address
is: 4800 US Hwy. 301 North, Tampa, Florida 33610. There are 3
entrances into the Fairgrounds property: Martin Luther King, Jr.
Blvd., US Hwy. 301 and Orient Road. MLK, Jr. Blvd. and US
Hwy. 301 are only open when there are events ongoing at the
Fairgrounds. The Orient Road entrance is accessible seven
days a week with 24-hour security present.
