Garden Musings

As with all new publications, our second issue of Tropical Visions, the RareFruit Review reflects some changes suggested by readers. We will continue to strive to improve in the areas and topics you ask about.

"Tropical Visions is not your typical magazine or newsletter." We said this last issue and are even more convinced with this. One HUGE luxury from an editorial standpoint is our ability to go back and correct minor errors. Despite our best efforts the first issue had some broken links - these were fixed as our readers brought them to our attention. (A part of this is that we are not hand coding all the html but using the editor that comes with the Netscape browser). It seems that sometimes files are left referring to our work computer and not the server - we're still working on this but now that we are aware of it expect fewer mistakes to get through. While we test these pages with Netscape, Internet Explorer and Safari we suggest that you use Netscape. Netscape is free and easily downloaded.

We wanted to give you a book review this time, and hope you like our choice. If you know of a good book in our sphere of interest let us know about it. If we can we'll acquire a copy and write it up for you. Same as to garden, grove products - if we can get them to test we will write up the results.

We continue to recognize the need, and value of rarefruiters world wide and are seeking advice and contributors from as wide and diverse a group as we can find.

Thanks to all of you who sent in questions and comments on the first issue. We are posting most of this one open to all but expect to see more and more of the content for our members only. Founding status is still open but remember its not required and the regular rate is a bargain.

Best of growing,
Bob Cannon
