The Society focus is on fruits and
food plants from the four corners of the globe. Their plants originate
from cool-temperate, temperate, subtropical and elevated tropical
regions. We have guest speakers and workshops where members learn the
skills of propagation and grafting. Members also have access to our
library and newsletter. Field trips are planned to various locations of
interest to members and our trading table is a favorite feature at our
meetings.
They also have an established tree orchard at
Kangarilla and a large collection of rare and heritage fruit trees
grown by their members.
